This Privacy Policy describes how Lan Speed Test ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use our application.

1. Overview

Lan Speed Test is a local network speed testing tool that allows you to measure network performance between devices on your local area network (LAN). The app operates primarily on your device and within your local network.

2. Information Collection and Use

2.1 Local Network Information

To provide the core functionality of network speed testing, the app accesses:

• Local IP Address: Used to identify your device on the local network and establish connections between server and client devices
• Network Port: Used for establishing network connections during speed tests
• Speed Test Results: Including download/upload speeds, test duration, and data transfer sizes

Important: This information is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to external servers or third parties.

2.2 Test History

The app stores your speed test history locally on your device, including:

• Test date and time
• Test mode (Server or Client)
• Download and upload speeds
• Test data size
• Server IP and port information

You can view and delete this history at any time within the app.

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Google AdMob (iOS Only)

The free version of our iOS app displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain information to provide personalized ads. Information that may be collected includes:

• Device information (device model, OS version)
• Advertising identifier (IDFA)
• IP address (for approximate location)
• App usage data

Note: Users who purchase the premium subscription will not see ads and will not be subject to AdMob data collection.

3.2 Apple StoreKit

The app uses Apple's StoreKit framework for in-app purchases. All purchase transactions are processed by Apple, and we do not have access to your payment information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for more information.

4. Data Storage and Security

• All test results and app settings are stored locally on your device using standard iOS/macOS secure storage mechanisms
• We do not operate any external servers that collect or store your data
• Data is not synchronized across devices or backed up to cloud services by our app
• If you use iCloud backup, your test history may be included in your device backup according to Apple's backup policies

5. Network Permissions

The app requires network access permissions to:

• Create server connections on your local network
• Connect to other devices running Lan Speed Test as servers
• Transfer test data between devices to measure network speed
• Display advertisements (iOS free version only)

Network communication for speed testing occurs only within your local network and is not transmitted to the internet.

6. Children's Privacy

Our app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age. The app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access and Delete: You can view and delete your test history at any time within the app
• Opt-out of Ads: You can remove advertisements by purchasing the premium subscription
• Limit Ad Tracking: You can limit ad tracking through your device settings (Settings > Privacy > Tracking on iOS)
• Complete Removal: Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data from your device

8. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for the app to function:

• Test history is retained on your device until you manually delete it or uninstall the app
• No data is retained on external servers as we do not operate any data collection servers

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.

10. International Users

This app can be used worldwide. However, as all data is stored locally on your device and we do not operate servers, there are no international data transfers by us. Any data collected by third-party services (AdMob) may be subject to international transfer according to their respective privacy policies.

11. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). However, since we do not collect or sell personal information, most CCPA obligations do not apply to our practices. 12. GDPR Compliance (European Users)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA):

• We process local network data based on the legal basis of contract performance and legitimate interest
• You have the right to access, rectify, and erase data stored locally on your device
• For advertising data collected by AdMob, please consult Google's GDPR compliance information
• You can withdraw consent for personalized advertising through your device settings
